A Bold Move: The construction walls have advanced, revealing a stripped-down facade as the MuppetVision 3D attraction makes way for the upcoming Monsters, Inc. land. But here's where it gets controversial—the beloved Muppets are being replaced, leaving fans with mixed emotions.
Construction Update: The walls now extend further into Grand Avenue, but rest assured, there's still ample space for guests to stroll from Star Tours to the immersive Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. Our previous update hinted at changes, and now the facade is almost unrecognizable, with bricks removed and crew members diligently working on its transformation.
A Hint of Things to Come: Green markings on the left of the photo might indicate the extent of the planned brick removal. Concept art suggests a new brick finish and a grand marquee, so this facelift could be the first step in that direction.
Behind the Scenes: The theater's boxes are also being revamped, with one completely removed and the other stripped to its frame. As the construction progresses, even the gelato stand has found a new home across from the Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant.
