According to police reports, the camera captured 26-year-old Jiarui Zou, a fellow PhD candidate, allegedly damaging another student's computer with a device that caused sparks to erupt from the laptop. The incident occurred on November 9-10, resulting in three felony counts of vandalism against Zou, each charge carrying a potential penalty exceeding $400.
